Sean Bean Wallpapers

Shaun Mark "Sean" Bean born 17 April 1959 is an English film and stage actor. Sean Bean is best known for starring roles in the films Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, GoldenEye, Patriot Games, Troy, National Treasure and Silent Hill, as well as the television series Sharpe. Sean Bean has also acted in a number of television productions, most recent being HBO's Game of Thrones, as well as performing voice work for computer games and television adverts. As a boy, Sean Bean ran with his local street gangs, but turned to boxing in his teenage years. Aimless and discontent, Sean Bean worked in the cheese department at a supermarket, and eventually as a welder in his father's shop. He was 20 when he signed up for his first acting class, and friends thought the idea was so out of character they teasingly suggested he might be gay. Soon, however, Sean Bean was a working actor in local stage productions, and soon after that he was finished with selling cheese. At 24 he landed his first film role, the rarely-seen Winter Flight, and for the next few years he worked on both stage and screen.

In 1988, the 27-year-old Sean Bean starred opposite Tommy Lee Jones, Melanie Griffith, and Sting in the gangster flick Stormy Monday. Through the mid-1990s, he played a cocky British military officer, Richard Sharpe, in a series of fourteen British TV movies based on the novels of Bernard Cornwell (Sharpe's Honour, Sharpe's Company). In America, Sean Bean has mostly been cast in spy movies and cop roles. He has menaced Harrison Ford in Patriot Games and James Bond in GoldenEye. In the Lord of the Rings trilogy, he played Boromir of Gondor. Bean married and divorced Abigail Cruttenden, who played his wife in the Sharpe TV movies.

Anna Paquin Wallpapers

Anna Helene Paquin born July 24, 1982 is a Canadian-born New Zealand actress. Paquin's first critically successful film was The Piano, for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1994 at the age of 11 – the second youngest winner in history. Her acting career took off almost half a decade later when she appeared in a string of successful films including She's All That, Almost Famous and the X-Men franchise.

Anna Paquin has received critical acclaim for her role as Sookie Stackhouse in the HBO series True Blood, for which she won the 2008 Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Television Series Drama. Anna Paquin is the star of several major motion pictures, including her first Oscar winning performance in The Piano (1993), the role of the young Jane in the 1996 film Jane Eyre (1996), and the role of Amy Alden in the charming family film, Fly Away Home (1996). With a well-developed vocabulary and gentle sense of humor, Anna Paquin proves herself to be the most enchanting young talent working today. Anna Paquin's rising stardom has often been a cause of charming media shyness, where it is obvious that she is an ordinary girl who happens to posses an extraordinary talent. She has two agents, Gail Cowan in New Zealand, and the William Morris agency in Los Angeles, but neither these nor her parents have much influence in deciding what she films. "In the end", she says, "it's my decision". Anna Paquin's parents separated while she was filming Fly Away Home (1996) in Canada. On Oscar night in 1993, Anna Paquin was the surprise (and surprised) winner of the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She stood, wide-eyed and gulping for breath at the microphone for a full twenty-something-odd seconds before delivering a gracious, though rather breathless thank-you speech.

Regina Hall Wallpapers

Regina Hall was born December 12, 1970 in Washington, D.C. Regina Hall made her initial splash on the movie scene by spoofing formulaic horror flicks as strong-willed Brenda Meeks in the 2000 hit comedy Scary Movie and its two sequels. The actress, who also held some prime-time television clout playing Corretta Lipp during the 2001-’02 season of Fox’s "Ally McBeal," returns to the big screen this summer as Trixie Norton in Sony’s modern-day update of The Honeymooners, which releases in theaters June 10.

In the film remake of Jackie Gleason’s classic sitcom, which stars Cedric the Entertainer, Gabrielle Union and Mike Epps, Regina Hall's character Trixie goes against the brash attitude of her in-your-face Scary Movie character. According to Hall, she had to refine her onscreen persona a bit in order to slip into her Honeymooners role.

"I definitely wanted to capture the spirit of [Joyce Randolph’s] Trixie. It’s a smaller part in the foursome, so I tried to capture who she was in that time that I had to portray her," says Hall. "I wanted her to be different than Alice (Union) and yet connected enough so that you could see why they would be friends in the first place."

Getting into character aside, it’s not lost on Hall that many people will rate the performance in the newer version based on the template originally set by Gleason and gang back in the 1950s. According to Regina Hall, though, she’s ready for it.

"I know there are going to be comparisons [to Joyce]… anytime you do a remake of something that’s so iconic, you just have to be prepared [for the criticism]," she says.

Initially, "The Honeymooners" was a skit performed on Gleason’s infamous variety show. It became so popular that it was developed and made into a full-length television show. Unlike present day, where a show is not considered popular until its 100th episode is in the can, things were different in the days of the original "Honeymooners." In fact, only 39 installments of Gleason’s sitcom were shot and aired. The newer version, then, might help introduce the classic television characters to a whole new generation.

"I’d heard of [the original show] and had seen a few episodes on TV," Hall reflects, "[but] when I got the part, I bought all of the DVDs to watch. You can definitely see how ‘The Honeymooners’ set a lot of groundwork for future half-hour sitcoms."

After giving Gleason and company their props, Regina Hall expounds on why she thinks the newer feature-length reprisal will work. "I just think the fact that we don’t have sex, we don’t have any violence and you can take your grandmother and your wife or your grandchild to see it – I hope that helps.

"I just hope that all the Star Wars people have gotten that out of their system," she jokes. "I was telling the studios, ‘Why don’t we just say Tyler Perry’s in it – that would guarantee us $22 million! But you can’t know," she says of trying to predict how well a film’s going to do, "it’s just one of those things."

The Honeymooners will be released during the summertime blockbuster crunch, so box office competition will be higher compared to a spring release. Regina Hall unveils how she plans to augment the film’s ad campaign.

"I keep trying to start the rumor that I slept with Gabrielle (Union)," she laughs, "because she’s married and the movie’s going to be released the same day as Mr. and Mrs. Smith. So I’m hoping that maybe if I’m seeing Gabrielle or Cedric [in the tabloids], then maybe…"

James Marsden Pictures

James Paul Marsden, or better known as just James Marsden, was born on September 18, 1973, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA. His father, a distinguished Professor of Animal Sciences & Industry at Kansas State University and his mother, a nutritionist, divorced when he was just nine years old. James grew up with his four other siblings, sisters, Jennifer and Elizabeth, and brothers, Jeff and Robert.

During his teen years, he attended Putnam City North High School which was located in Oklahoma City. After graduating in 1991, he attended Oklahoma State University and studied Broadcast Journalism. While in university, he became a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. It was when he was vacationing with his family in Hawaii, he met actor Kirk Cameron, and his actress sister, Candace Cameron Bure. They eventually invited James Marsden to visit them in Los Angeles. After studying in Oklahoma State for over a year and appearing in his college production, "Bye Bye Birdie", he left school and moved to Los Angeles to pursue his interest in acting.

James Marsden got his first job on the pilot episode of "The Nanny" (1993) as Eddie, who was Margaret Sheffield's boyfriend. He then became part of the Canadian television series, "Boogies Diner" (1994), which aired for one season. After that series ended, he got a brief role as the original Griffin on Fox's "Party of Five" (1994). His first big break came when he became the lead on the short-lived ABC series, "Second Noah" (1996). Although the show didn't last long, the young actor received enough exposure from the public and even managed to win the hearts of fellow teenage girls.

In 1996, he attended an audition for a movie titled Primal Fear (1996) but unfortunately lost that role to Edward Norton. Two years later, he was offered a lead role in 54 (1998), which he turned down. The role later went to another actor, Ryan Phillippe. Audiences noticed that James' star power increased when he starred in David Nutter's Disturbing Behavior, alongside Katie Holmes and Nick Stahl, which had mixed reviews, but mostly positive ones.

His role in the television series as Glenn Foy in Ally McBeal, is probably one of his biggest achievement to date. He became one of the main cast members during the first half of season 5, where he showcased his singing abilities. It was in that show where he was able to grab the attention of audiences from different backgrounds.

The 5' 10" star later played Lon Hammon Jr. in the romantic movie, The Notebook (2004), which was based on a novel by Nicholas Sparks of the same name. His movies, Lies & Alibis (2006) and 10th & Wolf (2006) was also released around the world to audiences in the year 2006.

One of his most memorable roles to fans is his role as Cyclops in the X-Men (2000) movie franchise. The movie was well accepted by audiences and critics, which eventually made James one of the hottest stars since it was released. He was among the actors who starred in all three of the X-Men movies. JJames Marsden had the honor of working alongside Patrick Stewart, Famke Janssen and Hugh Jackman in the film. However, not many people know that he actually had to wear lifts for most of his scenes in the X-men movies, because his character Cyclops is supposed to be 6" 3" compared to a 5' 3" Wolverine. In reality, he is actually under 6' 0", shorter than Famke Janssen who plays his love interest, Jean Grey, and even shorter than Hugh Jackman who played Wolverine.

In the year 2006, he had the opportunity to play the role of Richard White in the highly anticipated movie, Superman Returns (2006), which coincidentally was directed by Bryan Singer, the same guy who directed previous X-Men installments. Although he appeared in X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), the third installment of the X-Men franchise, many would notice that he in fact had more screen time in 'Superman Returns', as Lois Lane's long awaiting fiancé who had to accept the fact that his fiancée is in love with the man of steel. James earned great reviews from that movie, which led to him getting more movie roles.

In 2007, James Marsden played Corny Collins in the film Hairspray (2007), an adaption of the Broadway musical based on John Waters movie, Hairspray (1988). He joined a star-studded cast, starring alongside top names such as John Travolta, Queen Latifah and Michelle Pfeiffer. James Marsden not only acted in that movie, but also sang two of the film's songs, "The Nicest Kids In Town", and "Hairspray". Being part of Hairspray catapulted James to a different level of stardom as audiences got to see another side of him.

His next role was in the Disney movie, Enchanted (2007), playing Prince Edward, where he acted alongside Amy Adams, Susan Sarandon and Patrick Dempsey. Once again, James had the opportunity to sing in two songs from the movie, "True Love's Kiss" and "That's Amore". Enchanted (2007) appealed to not only older audiences but also to those who were fans of Disney's network productions. Following his huge success in the years 2006 and 2007, James played the male lead role in the romantic comedy, 27 Dresses (2008), opposite actress Katherine Heigl in 2008. The movie did pretty well in the box office, earning a gross revenue of over $159 million, which exceeded the expectations of crew members especially since it was under a $30 million budget.

The year 2009 looks like it will be another great year for James Marsden as he has been signed to play the male lead again, in the upcoming horror film, The Box (2009/I), based on the 1970 short story "Button, Button" by author Richard Matheson. James will be starring opposite Cameron Diaz in the movie. James also managed to get a role in Nailed (????), an upcoming politically-influenced romantic comedy, where he plays the role of Scott. The movie which was directed by David O. Russell was filmed in Columbia, South Carolina, USA.

James Marsden is married to Lisa Linde, an actress known from her role in "Days of Our Lives" (1965). Lisa is also the daughter of legendary country music songwriter, Dennis Linde. The couple wed in July 22, 2000 and have a son, Jack Holden who was born on February 1, 2001, and daughter, Mary James, who was born on August 10, 2005.

Friends and family members have been known to call him "Bello Jimmy" as well as "Jimmy Lee" after the character from Double Dragon, which James Marsden was a fan of while growing up. He often spent his time at the local gas station his father used to own playing the arcade version until he received the home version for his NES on his 15th birthday.

James Marsden is a huge fan of the Canadian band, Simple Plan, and is in fact good friends with the lead singer, Pierre Bouvier. He also enjoys listening to music from Bach and Barry Manilow, even noting his interest in music of the southern and classic rock genre. James had also previously modeled for Versace and GAP. Another fact which may be a surprise to most people is that James Marsden is part of a band he and his siblings formed called "The Hot Rods", where the five of them would regularly perform at their family owned gas station in Oklahoma.

Many would assume that with all this success achieved by James Marsden at this age, he would be somewhat high-headed but James Marsden mentioned that despite all the attention he's getting from the public eye, he tries to keep himself as grounded as possible. He even admits that he flies coach instead of first class while traveling with his family. In an interview he mentioned that he believes he has a certain responsibility to let his children know that he isn't special because of what he does, but who he is as a person. With a great humble attitude and a bright future ahead of him, there's definitely more to expect from this Oklahoma native.

He also created, produced and hosted Punk'd, and played lead roles in the Hollywood films Dude, Where's My Car?, Just Married, The Butterfly Effect, The Guardian, and What Happens in Vegas. He is also the producer and co-creator of the supernatural TV show Room 401 and the reality TV show Beauty and the Geek. Ashton Kutcher attended Washington High School in Cedar Rapids for his freshman year before his family moved to Homestead, Iowa, where he attended Clear Creek Amana High School. In a 2010 interview on Late Night with David Letterman, Ashton Kutcher claimed to be an all-state linebacker who averaged 15 tackles per game in high school. According to a former coach, however, Ashton Kutcher played sparingly as a wide receiver on a team that won only two games in his entire high school football career. Ashton Kutcher also appeared in school plays.

Ashton Kutcher's brother suffering from cardiomyopathy caused his home life to become increasingly stressful. He has stated that "I didn't want to come home and find more bad news about my brother" and "kept myself so busy that I didn't allow myself to feel". Ashton Kutcher admitted that during adolescence, he contemplated committing suicide. At thirteen, he attempted to jump from a Cedar Rapids hospital balcony, with his father intervening in the incident. Ashton Kutcher's home life worsened as his parents divorced when he was sixteen. During his senior year, he broke into his high school at midnight with his cousin in an attempt to steal money; he was arrested leaving the scene. Ashton Kutcher was convicted of third-degree burglary and sentenced to three years' probation and 180 hours of community service. Ashton Kutcher enrolled at the University of Iowa in August 1996, where his planned major was biochemical engineering, motivated by the desire to find a cure for his brother's heart ailment. At college, Ashton Kutcher was kicked out of his apartment for being too "noisy" and "wild". Ashton Kutcher stated, "I thought I knew everything but I didn't have a clue. I was partying, and I woke up many mornings not knowing what I had done the night before. I played way too hard. I am amazed I am not dead." To earn money for his tuition, Ashton Kutcher worked as a college summer hire in the cereal department for the General Mills plant in Cedar Rapids, and sometimes donated blood for money. During his time at UI he was approached by a scout at a bar called "The Airliner" in Iowa City and was recruited to enter the "Fresh Faces of Iowa" modeling competition. After placing first, he dropped out of college and won a trip to New York City to the International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA) Convention. Following his stay in New York City, Ashton Kutcher returned to Cedar Rapids before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting.
